Photos around Chiang Mai

There are signs like this all over, have 1kg of your clothes washed, dryed and ironed for 60p
This is one of the huge models that are being built ready for this weekends full moon festival, they are all over the city and beautiful at night when illuminated, you can see people in the back ground on the right to get an idea of their size
On the night of the full moon  there will be thousands of these 'kratongs',  candle and joss sticks lit and floated down the river to give thanks to the Mother of water.
This is the one I made at my 3 hour group yesterday learning the history of the' Lok Kratong' festival
I also got to learn 20 Thai words relating to the festival and we sang a song in Thai as annoying as Jingle Bells, but iIt was fun
So proud!
Another large model, see the lady standing behind it in the  middle
Who said bike were only for riding?
